One of the best and most meaningful purchases in my life! My family and I are first and second generation no sabo kids, and growing and actively preserving the love of my culture means a lot to me—! This was a great step in the direction of nurturing my roots! So far, I’ve delved into Preguntas with my boyfriend (who is also no sabo, but nurtures his roots in different ways) this has helped him open up more as well as practice his Spanish speaking skills :)

Part of regular date night for my wife and me is some sort of question cards while out for drinks or coffee or just standing around the kitchen island making dinner. I’m a polyglot and her work often necessitates speaking Spanish. I’m a big believer that if you want to learn to speak a language then you need to actually practice speaking it. This has already been so much fun for us, has been a point of connection on answering the questions, and we’re learning to listen, speak, and think in Spanish.

The packaging shows the intention that went behind creating this. I appreciate the quality of the cards and the structure of the box to keep things organized. BEYOND THAT, I’m so grateful that I ran into this while watching La Plática. This is a perfect way to do therapeutic work with Latino families in a playful and meaningful way. Great questions !
